Minnesberg Tegelbruk (Minnesberg Brickworks) were formed 1883 but it had existed production of brick in the clay rich area for over 200 hundred years.
This clay gave a brick of a lot of good quality and with exceptional clear, red colour.
The red façade brick from Minnesberg exists on many places around in Skane as well the rest of the country. One example is the railroad station I Malmoe.
The brickworks shutdown at 1993 and a near 200 year long epoch of brick production ended. This was the second last brickworks in Skane.
